Giant transformation project for biscuit giant Biskot
Within the scope of a giant project managed by Medyasoft, Karaman’s biscuit giant Biskot moved to SAP simultaneously at four factories at two different locations in only six months.
Having biscuits, wafers, cakes, chocolates, cream chocolates and chocolate coated delicacies in its production portfolio, Biskot Biscuit produces both for brands like Ülker, Halk and Karsa, and under special labels.
It took Medyasoft a record short duration of only 6 months to complete the project for Biskot, one of Karaman’s biggest producers with over 1.200 different products, at four factories at two different locations: Silivri and Karaman.
With its team of experienced consultants, Medyasoft migrated all end-to-end processes of Biskot, successfully live-commissioning all mobile application integrations including Axata warehouse management system, weighbridges, handheld terminals, touch screens and scales.
The project brought Biskot both time and cost advantages, improving Biskot’s internal communication to create interdepartmental synergy. Redesigned business processes created a monitorable, measurable, fast and decision-friendly structure. Integrations ensured accessibility to consolidated real-time data.
Integrating Biskot’s stakeholders with the company, the project allowed selling through the Producer’s own sales company. Purchase, sales, inter-company and cross-company processes were built between the companies within the same system. Project closeout meeting was held on February 18th, 2015 with the participation of Medyasoft project team and Biskot top management.
