Designed to Support Students throughout their Education Journey, “Turkish Red Crescent’s Student Scholarships Project” Has Been Commenced

Since its establishment in 1868, Turkish Red Crescent has undertaken outstanding tasks in order to ensure social solidarity, contribute to the development of social welfare and provide shelter, nutrition, and medical care for those who are in need. Turkish Red Crescent is actively engaged in a number of areas including blood donation, disaster management, international aid, provision of services for immigrants and refugees, social services, health services, first aid, education, youth and sparkling water business.

Based on individual demands and demands from educational institutions, Turkish Red Crescent Headquarters and its branches/representative offices provide financial support as well as support in various topics including career counseling, academic studies and education for students of different levels of education. The “Turkish Red Crescent’s Student Scholarships Project” aims to implement a special “Scholarship Program” for students who face financial challenges in continuing their education.

Within the context of this project, applications from those who demand a scholarship will be managed through the website, each and every student’s application will be evaluated and scholarship payments will be forwarded to the eligible applicants. The follow-up of each student who has been granted a scholarship will be carried out via the system. Thanks to this project, scholarship application, evaluation, payment and follow-up processes managed by Turkish Red Crescent will undergo an end-to-end automation. Both labor and time will be saved during the execution of processes and follow-up of students that are granted scholarships will be managed through a centralized structure.
